And lastly, and exotic skin for the late Pe-2 (FB srs 359). This was not a common scheme, but it was nice looking says I. It could be seen in the late-44 onwards time frame, and was completed using the late-War all-metal Am lacquers (A-24m/A-32m/A-21m over AMT-7). Very dark, but I think very nice.

No.3 is a very boring, and VERY ubiquitous AII Green/Dark Green scheme from anytime in the 1943-45 time frame. Indeed, one can use this skin on the FB "series 359" freely. I don't fancy it much, but Factory 22 certainly did....

...And #2, for the "Series 110". This is one of my personal favourites, a 3-colour scheme seen from summer/autumn '43 onwards. This application was basically a version of the NKAP recommended scheme, but using the older AII type lacquers. It was not the most common scheme, but it was well liked by the regiments who had examples.

We need more Pe-2s, of course!!

Here is skin #1 for the Series 110 model in FB. This scheme would be found early in this conglomerate model's history, 1942-43 ish. The lacquers are AII green/Black over Blue.

Feel free to use as you wish.

The next early ("Srs.1") Pe-2 from Zavod 39 shows their odd two-colour camouflage application. Most of these early Zavod 39 machines were finished in this way, and the paints in use are AII Green/ Black/Blue.

Black border type stars have been applied in this case. Feel free to use, as above.

I have opted not to use rivets on the template, as these were too out of scale for my taste. But, I did make the template so that one can customize the interior finish, and some other neat tricks. Have a look.

Also, there were of course some compromises with regards to historical accuracy, strictly speaking. This is so because the 3D model is.. well... as it is. Not entirely as we would like it. But, the most recent Pe-2 research is on display here, and the results are nice IMO.

Here is the first of two early model Pe-2s from Zavod (factory) 39, suitable for the "Series 1" IL2FB machine. The factory employed its favourite paint on the first models, this an old dark green lacquer named AEh-15. The colour demarcations were high, and distinct for this factory.

Generic markings are applied to the skin. Feel free to use this for your own work or aircraft.

During 1944 the North American factory finished a large number of J model Mitchells in a three-colour upper surface scheme with black unders (this was common for the VMF by this time, even for daylight operations) for their USSR L-L contract. This was reportedly done at the request of the Soviet L-L Purchasing Commission, and indeed one gets the impression here of the NKAP AMT scheme, really.

This skin has geenric VVS markings. Feel free to use it as you wish.
